<pWhen you receive a growkit, all the most difficult work of both humans and mycelium has already been completed — it is almost impossible to launch it incorrectly. Make a neat criss-cross incision, each line is about 5 cm. Do not make it too large: it is important that moisture is retained inside the bag. For the same reason, we recommend that you limit yourself to one incision.

Do not place the growkit in direct sunlight or near heating devices, and regularly, until harvesting, moisten the incision 2-3 times a day with a spray gun.

Regular spraying of the unit with spray water will help to create additional evaporation from the surface of the substrate and improve the appearance of the mushrooms. The species we selected for growkits do not require special equipment and care. The required amount of moisture is already contained in a bag with a ready-made substrate, and the air exchange in a ventilated apartment is perfect for them.

Mushrooms like indirect light, humidity, and 18–24°C. No special lighting needed. In winter, heating dries the air—mist often and use a humidifier if you can. Keep the kit away from heaters. Shaded, cool, humid air is ideal.

All of our grow kits are made with pure organic ingredients: grain, hardwood sawdust, and soy husk. The mycelium grows only on these materials, so you can feel confident knowing exactly what you’re eating. For best quality, harvest the mushrooms when the caps are nearly open and the edges are still slightly curled. Always cook your mushrooms—do not eat them raw. Raw mushrooms contain chitin, which is safe but harder to digest, and cooking makes them much easier on the stomach
